SWAN MICHELLE’S STORY

Swan Michelle’s practice is something she lives authentically and hopes to share with all.

As is the case for many of us, Michelle came to these healing arts via struggle, separation and suffering. She is devoted to accepting the abundant teachings from the curriculum of her life and is deeply fulfilled by seeing others empowered, self-lead, and accepting of all that this life can be.

She is a bold warrioress. Her adoration of the art of yoga is so enthusiastic she can’t help but to share it with others in hopes that they too live what they are wired for on this planet.

Swan Michelle has been described as determined, strong, enthusiastic, open, vulnerable, disciplined and spacious. She remains committed to consistently showing up for her local, Gulf Coast, international, and virtual community, whether there is celebration or hardship. She has influenced, inspired, and connected numerous beings in the realm of all things yoga, wellness, holistic healing arts, music, and energy medicine. This work has taken place on scales large and small, each setting allowing her to witness growth and the changing of lives.

Swan Michelle has been a multi-passionate, self-employed entrepreneur in healing arts, wellness, and yoga for 20 years. She has always worked and provided for herself. She co-owns 3 yoga studios and schools that were created during a time of devastation in her home city, New Orleans, LA. Now each studio thrives, and she employs and trains numerous epic beings, helped launch a vegan cafe, has written several training manuals, and created yoga DVDs and kirtan albums. In addition, she takes many trips around this world in search of knowledge and practices to bring back and share with her community.

Feeling broken and out of place at numerous points in her life, Swan Michelle used her pain as fuel to overcome struggles with her head up. She now finds that meditating and chanting mantra by the ocean, cultivating fairness, living intentionally and healthfully, constantly creating, owning the right to accept ourselves and live out our dreams, watching Sci-fi movies, and encouraging others to live their truth are the most important instigators of her growth, exploration and adventure.

She wishes that all beings be given the opportunity to explore this gorgeous planet, see the potential of life with new eyes, do their necessary inner work, and live their unique purpose with fulfillment, integrity and dignity.

“I am committed to creating these opportunities to bring you the best in multifaceted, integrative holistic teachings, arts, courses, seminars, trainings and resources. Doing this full-time for 20 years, I have a lot of tools in my tool belt now that I am excited to share. I have attended many high-caliber trainings. I’m always on the lookout for beings and experiences that have information that gets us to uncover the root of our existence and our suffering, which is a personal journey that can’t be faked or copied and must be practiced and experienced as it is ever unfolding. I train with the constant reminder that the leader and compass is within. I will continue to remind you of this in all of the courses I offer both online and in person.

I enjoy this transformative journey. I find it creative, exhilarating, thriving and whole. We each have a purpose. There is no need to push one onto someone. Let them discover their strengths for themselves. Go within often. I listen, whether afraid to or not. Do what feels right to YOU and in accordance with the Divine. That, along with joy and the very trusted company you keep within, is the greatest mile marker for fulfillment, abundance and success in all things you will find on the outside.

I feel many of these resources and practices will inspire you from within as they are diverse and tested. I have been in the company of some pretty epic beings in this lifetime, enough to where I feel I must share the timeless teachings. I also have narrowed down a lot of the practices that do not seem to work efficiently, are unsustainable, create more pain and expectation, lack substance and needed clear boundaries. I’ve focused on what matters, what works, what uplifts and instills true inner freedom. These tools and courses truly work, which is why I wish to share them with you! You being the most aligned and optimal version of you empowers this planet in greater harmony.

To do all of the above, get barefoot as much as possible. Go on silent walks in nature surrounded by waters and trees. Go out of your way to offer kindness and generosity. Judge others less. Expect less. Be more. Pray to the Divine in ritual for guidance. Go on an appreciation frenzy. I am eternally grateful. Below is a list of a credentials timeline and how I have spent the last 20 years, beyond running numerous consistent and reliable businesses, teaching classes, offering private holistic sessions, or catching a plane out of the country to do them somewhere else! This list will give an idea of all that is in store for you here on this website, near or far.”
